What about an access to the phones library so we can identify clouds pictures already saved?

You cant resend clouds that have been rejected as a different cloud!!!! Also, the photo thing stays on the previously taken photo for days! Please fix.

Fun, very informative, easy to use. Plus if you incorrectly name the cloud, they actually email you the correction - fabulous!

Easy to use, very nice library. Its a fun way to learn more about clouds and be able to identify them by submitting pics for confirmation. It would be nice for arbitrators to be able to give identification corrections/feedback, instead of simple rejection. Cant wait for the bug with the "clouds recently spotted near me" to be fixed (shows me pics from Africa - Im in Canada). Wish the app included a way to reach the developer when we have an issue or suggestion.

Its quite narrow in terms of functions - mainly you spot clouds, take pictures of clouds, the app helps you identify them- and share them to a wall where others have done the same. but it seems that no one is around to approve shots so nothing gets uploaded to the shared space, which is static. So all a bit pointless. Shame.

I love this app. The weather report last night mentioned a shelf cloud and I was so disappointed I missed it. I saw a fallstreak hole last spring, but couldnt pull off the road in time to snap it. I really like the suggestions in the other reviews. Id love to see a map of where the days sightings are. I also would like to be able to upload pictures taken off the internet--especially needed when traveling abroad. I found some additional sky phenomena on the web which I didnt remember in this app: - monochromatic rainbow - moon bow - fog bow Thanks for a really neat app and I hope you maintain it for a long time. Had the Cloudspotters Guide by Pretor-Pinney for a while and the Cloud Collectors Handbook as well but just discovered this awesome app after reading about it in the New York Times Magazine. Absolutely love it. Ive always taken pictures of clouds and enjoyed them but this adds a whole new dimension to my enjoyment. Actually have learned way more about cloud typed and weather just by using this app even more so than reading the book. Excellent. Looking forward to a zoom feature which I understand is coming in the next update. Highly recommended.

I downloaded the app to my Itouch. I cant get the camera to work. Please refund my money. Thank you.

Update: Thank you for the update! However the GPS of "near me" claims that I am somewhere in Western Europe when I am actually in the USA. Original:A truly wonderful app that I am hooked on. I love that there are real people on the other end that confirm or deny pictures. This has hooked some of my high school students on cloud identification as well! One particular student said, "I never knew clouds were so interesting." Thank you for helping make my job easier to spark a love for science. However, I have some suggestions: 1) I would love to have the ability to see on a map the locations that my photos have been taken. 2) Please include in the future more badge options, like "Spotted in all 50 states" for the US for example, or "Spotted clouds in every daylight hour." 3) Please also include the ability to network/communicate with other people using this app and scrolling through the rankings. 4) It would be great to have the ability to tap on a person you see in the rankings and see their cloud pictures and badges. Keep up the great work guys and thank you for this one-of-a-kind app!

I just updated my Cloudspotter so I can zoom when I want to take pictures, but now when I open it it keeps crashing and I cant do anything on the app. Please fix this

Sometimes I take a quick pic of a cloud I want to identify later. It would be a huge plus for me to be able to access my photo library rather than taking the pic in the app.

Shades of 8th grade science/weather unit but much more fun. This app has added to my daily walks and Im learning more than I did in 8th grade! The descriptions are helpful (and clever) as are the multiple photos of each type of cloud and Im having fun with collecting my badges and stars. BUT, I would love 1.) feedback when I get it wrong and 2.) the ability to take a pic and identify later. I dont always have the time or the weather isnt cooperating.

I ❤️ clouds and this app. Id really like the option to upload only on wi-fi.

You have to enter your name and password EVERY time you launch this app. Only takes camera photos. looks like it culls from your library, but it doesnt. I am a member of their website, but this $3 app isnt even worth a crepuscular ray! And those are a dime a dozen...

First off I was really angry because the app didnt work. Crashes, losing pictures and log outs were really annoying. But they worked hard, got the update out and now Im happy cloudspotter! :) I like the library and step by step identifier of clouds the best. Very educational and fun!

PLEASE give an option to disable flash!!!! I missed out on a beautiful noctilucent shot because I couldnt turn off the flash :( :( :(
