Really wanted to like this ap

I tried like crazy to like this app but the limitations make it very hard. The simple fact that you cant upload a photo you take on the phone w/o using the built-in system is a pain. The built-in system does not compensate for light levels making more subtle effects impossible to capture. I attempted to take a photo of a partial arc that showed up fine w the regular photo app but did not appear when trying to photograph through Cloud Spotter. Also photos are denied w/o any explications.

Simple cloud formations are easy to capture but as I try to get into more interesting spotting the app really fails. It also has a tendency to crash. The idea is good - just needs better execution for a paid app.
